They’ve released the 911 call from the 12 year old girl who protected herself from a home intruder this week. I confess it made me tear up a little bit to listen to it. She sounded so scared and so … young.
Thank God she’s okay.

Wow. Just…wow. That was very difficult to listen to. I’m in awe of that young lady – I was probably more mature than average at that age (says she shamelessly) and I doubt I could have managed to be anywhere near that self-possessed in the face of a situation like that.
